Here you can find information about Planning Council activities in the Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon Transitional Grant Area (TGA).

The Planning Council is a group of local providers and consumners from Middlesex, Somerset, and Hunterdon counties in New Jersey and its responsible for:

• Identifying the needs of people living with HIV/AIDS;
• Prioritizing those needs and allocating federal Part A funds from the Ryan White CARE Act to community based organizations as appropriate;
• Developing a comprehensive plan to deliver services and meet needs;
• Assessing the administrative mechanism (the agency responsible for administering the grant); and
• Collaborating with other systems and agencies to facilitate the implementation of the comprehensive plan.
